“Teachers can’t survive on apples alone …”

“… they need ‘hugs’ too.”

Seriously, seriously adorable idea. The card read “Teachers can’t live on apples alone … they need hugs too”. It came complete with a fancy chocolate covered caramel apple, apple appliqued hand towel, and a big handful of Hershey’s Hugs. Sure to melt any teacher’s heart!

I think that pretty much covers everything a teacher needs to survive! (It came complete with an adorable poem)

Hand Painted Wood Block Letters with Burlap

A simple block of wood … becomes something truly great with just a little paint, some burlap, and a few brads.

This mom painted and then antiqued the edges of the block with a little sand paper. She painted the ‘C’ on the burlap and then attached it to the block using 4 copper brads.

It’s the perfect addition to any teacher’s desk. :D

Love that the recipe is attached … so we can enjoy this all season.

Stuffed Christmas Tree Jars

Love this one … it’s a large Christmas tree jar stuffed with goodies.

In the center is a bottle of Bath & Body Works stress relief bubble bath. Surrounding that is a pair of warm fuzzy socks, thick enough to pass for slippers, mints and taffies … and then it’s tied up with a bow and ornament.

Such a fun gift to open and go through!

“Bless you for all you do …”

Teachers can never have too many … or enough … tissues. This adorable box of tissues came with a note that read: “Bless you for all you do …”

This would be the PERFECT teacher gift for ANY holiday/teacher appreciation occasion … because Kleenex makes tissues for every holiday.

Fruit Christmas Trees

These are soooo pretty and a nice alternative to the usual candies, chocolates, cookies, cakes, etc. Fresh fruit, skewered on a cemetery base (what you would put a bouquet in and leave at a cemetery).

Kiwi slices, grapes, strawberries, orange slices, pineapple chunks … all topped with a pineapple star. How adorable is this?!

Reindeer Handprint Shirts and Reindeer Noses

I love Christmas!

I love the joy of celebrating the birth of our Savior.

I love the magic of Santa and his 8 (or 9?) reindeer.

We celebrate by watching ‘The Grinch’ … Christmas Bingo … pizza … decorating Candy Christmas trees (upside down ice cream cones) … and we ALWAYS make reindeer shirts. Each of my kiddos have 4 reindeer shirts now. It’s fun to watch their handprints grow.

The kids’ favorite part is always the reindeer noses.

Thankful Little Turkeys

For Thanksgiving, we celebrate with a big party feast … and send all our favorite turkeys home with their very own turkey shirt to wear to their family Thanksgiving feast.

Spooky Little Spider Hands

For every holiday party, we celebrate by giving the moms a little ‘treat’ for their treasure boxes. The kind of ‘treat’ you never get rid of. For Halloween, we make spooky spider handprint shirts.

A simple little upside down black hand print … red dots for eyes … and a drawn spider web above. Moms LOVE these. It is their favorite part of our holiday parties.
What’s the kids’ favorite part? Well … that’s easy … it’s poop!
